A rubber o-ring is included on the bail to provide a waterproof seal. We recommend a little super glue on the threads just for extra security. As a keepsake urn, many families divide their pet’s ashes among different family members and purchase multiple keepsakes. We recommend sealing the compartment closed after placing in the pet’s remains with clear super glue.
